Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Accounting Clerk / Technician to join our team at Hawkesbury Cadillac Chevrolet Buick GMC. Within a collaborative and excellence-driven work environment, you will have the opportunity to utilize your accounting skills to contribute to the effective financial management of our dealership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the accounting books, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit end-of-month reports and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage customer and supplier accounts, including processing invoices and payments.
- Conduct financial analyses and participate in budget development.
- Collaborate with management to optimize financial processes and improve efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or a related field.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Good proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
