The Losier Group consists of 4 Mitsubishi dealerships, and Récré-Auto Entrepôt Laval is its latest acquisition. To complete the team, we are looking for a buyer of used vehicles to join us and contribute to optimizing our car inventory. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, negotiating, and acquiring quality vehicles, ensuring they meet the standards of our dealership. The buyer will play a key role in sourcing vehicles that meet the needs and expectations of our clientele.
Here is the DESCRIPTION of your future RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Research and evaluate used vehicles for acquisition based on quality, price, market, and demand • Be able to purchase between 400 and 500 cars per year • Negotiate prices and purchase terms with sellers • Conduct visual and technical inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with the company's quality standards • Manage and develop relationships with suppliers, auctions, and private sellers • Maintain a database of vehicles available in the market and potential suppliers • Work closely with the sales team to ensure the inventory reflects market needs • Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to adjust purchasing strategies accordingly • Adhere to purchasing budgets and contribute

• Previous experience in buying or selling used vehicles (mandatory) • In-depth knowledge of the used vehicle market, brands, models, and price trends • Negotiation and cost analysis skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions • Good organization and time management • Results-oriented • Bilingual in French and English
