Workshop Foreman and Internal Advisor
Permanent, full-time daytime position; Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week; weekends off Pension fund with employer contribution and group insurance; Stimulating work environment; Salary: $60k to $70k And much more! REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position with a diploma in mechanics; Good knowledge of mechanics; Experience with automotive software Mitchell and Serti Familiarity with German brands is an asset; Ability to control the efficiency of the workshop; Proven leadership skills. DUTIES:
Manage and oversee the progress of after-sales service work; Allocate repair requests among technicians and ensure continuous tracking of work progress and quality according to standards; Manage the availability of parts and workshop supplies; Act as a liaison between technical advisors and technicians in the execution and follow-up of jobs. Perform work follow-up Data entry Open and close work orders Produce estimates of repair costs Distribute work Office tasks Tasks related to Internal Technical Advisor
Follow up on parts returns requested by manufacturers Handle insurance claims Record all vehicle movements in the computerized system Management of courtesy vehicles and contracts Produce letters and documents Warranty claims Follow up on customer and insurance company files
