Job description

The Joint Committee of the Automotive Services Industry of the Montreal region is looking for a receptionist to complete its team.

Responsibilities:

Under the responsibility of the Assistant to the General Management, the holder of the position will need to:

  • Receive phone calls and act as a central filter
  • Welcome and direct employers or employees to the appropriate service
  • Perform certain billing tasks (including data entry and filing)
  • Keep the inventory of guides updated and submit it to accounting on the 1st of each month
  • Process credit card payments and perform end-of-day closing
  • Order office supplies
  • Prepare internship cards for schools
  • Carry out administrative tasks and manage correspondence
  • Send certificates for supervision
  • Sort mail and deliver it to the relevant department
  • Prepare special package shipments
  • Perform all other related tasks required by their immediate supervisor

Eligibility Criteria • Must hold a vocational diploma (DEP) in office automation or any other equivalent training. • Must have a good knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel). • Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written. • Accounting skills (an asset). • Knowledge of the decree and LDCC (an asset).
