Retail sales supervisor

• Full-time – 5 days a week (from Monday to Friday) • Variable schedule (minimum 40 hours per week)
• Supervise sales advisors in closing transactions;
• Ensure that advisors follow up with their clients;
• Participate in the training of new sales advisors;
• Help identify training needs for the sales team;
• Write progress reports for new advisors;
• Support the sales manager in achieving monthly goals for advisors;
• Collaborate to improve goal attainment for advisors;
• Plan sales meetings with the sales manager;
• Approve transactions at the request of their superior;
• Carry out administrative tasks on request (advertising, inventory...);
• Stay updated on new products, current programs, and promotions from manufacturers and/or financial institutions;
• Participate in the display of vehicles in the showroom and parking area;
• Coordinate team efforts for snow removal;
• Substitute for the sales manager during their absence;
• Advise, sell/rent new and used cars according to standards of gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction;
• Monitor customer loyalty and maintain the development system;
• Understand federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing retail automotive sales;
• Attend training on products and sales according to sales guidelines;
• Keep up to date on new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits for customers;
• Attend sales team meetings;
• Present oneself in a professional manner.

Desired profile
Have at least one year of experience as an assistant sales manager or sales supervisor in a car dealership.
2 years as Sales Consultant
Or 1 year as Retail sales supervisor
- Passenger Car Driver's License
- Valid OMVIC
• Minimum high school diploma (DES) • Certificate or diploma in automotive sales
