Job Description: We are looking for a meticulous and passionate paint preparation technician to join our dynamic team. The preparation technician plays a key role in the refurbishment and aesthetic repair process of vehicles.
Main Responsibilities: • Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, blasting, cleaning, degreasing, masking); • Apply primers and sealants as needed; • Ensure the cleanliness and quality of the surface before painting; • Collaborate with the painter to guarantee a high-quality finish; • Adhere to safety standards and environmental procedures; • Maintain tools and the workspace clean and well organized; • Participate in the final inspection to ensure that the vehicle meets quality standards.
Desired Skills and Qualifications: • Experience in automotive paint preparation (an asset); • Knowledge of products, materials, and equipment used in bodywork; • Attention to detail and precision; • Ability to work as part of a team and manage priorities; • Initiative, autonomy, and rigor; • Valid driver's license (preferred).
