About Sylvain Marcotte
Passionate about the automotive industry for as long as he can remember, Sylvain Marcotte quickly became interested in the human and relational aspect of the sector. Convinced that his professional future lay at the crossroads of talent management and the automotive world, he built a solid career spanning over 20 years as an executive, working in both sales and business restructuring.
Over the years, he faced a recurring challenge: the matching of the right candidate with the right position, which is often lengthy and complex. This hands-on experience fueled his vision for a technological tool capable of streamlining and optimizing the recruitment process, both for employers and job seekers. Thus, he co-founded Canada Motor Jobs, with a clear objective: to provide a platform centered on the real needs of the market, driven by innovation and focused on concrete results.
About Louis-Martin Jannard
Louis-Martin Jannard is an automotive enthusiast, recognized for his commitment to training, succession, and skills development in the industry. A certified first-class technician, he has been teaching for several years at the Montreal School of Motorized Equipment, where he shares his passion with future professionals in the field.
His involvement goes far beyond the classroom. He has been appointed by the Joint Committee of the Automotive Services Industry of Montreal to oversee training and qualification services, and he has chaired the Education-Work Committee in Motorized Equipment of Metropolitan Montreal (CETEMMM), an organization dedicated to promoting trades and integrating young people into the industry.
An entrepreneur at heart, he co-founded Auto-Jobs.ca in 2005, the first specialized recruitment portal for the automotive industry in Quebec. In 2008, he launched Consultation Casaweb, a digital marketing firm focused on web visibility and strategic SEO. Building on these experiences, he is now wholeheartedly investing in Canada Motor Jobs, with the ambition of redefining the standards of automotive recruitment using modern, efficient, and accessible tools.
