Graduating in heavy vehicle mechanics in 1993, Sébastien Gagné thrived on challenges. A talented and visionary mechanic, he launched his own business, Mécanique SGR, six years later by purchasing a mobile service unit. Within a few months, the first employee joined the newly established company.

With only one client and a fleet of about 25 tractors and tankers, the small team at Mécanique SGR proved its worth and demonstrated significant expertise in heavy vehicle inspections and repairs. Quickly, the client's fleet grew and was purchased by a major player in the transport industry. Armed with solid experience and growing notoriety, Mécanique SGR recruited new clients, and soon the company's premises became too cramped. Sébastien Gagné promptly had to take the next step and move into a new space that could accommodate a larger team and offered real growth potential for the future. For over 20 years, Mécanique SGR has passionately and devotedly served its clients while always operating under the same banner: 12,600 Henri-Bourassa East.

Mécanique SGR has not only distinguished itself from the competition with its outstanding customer service, but its founder has always made it a point of honor to offer as personalized a service as possible by being attentive to his clients, their needs, concerns, and specific requests. Most importantly, he and his team treat both the individual owner with a single vehicle and the one with a large fleet on an equal footing.
