About the role
Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Full Time Automotive Detailer. This position pays $18.50 / hour and is located at 3200 CABANA ROAD E WINDSOR, ON N8V 1A1.
Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo car rental brands and is the largest and fastest growing privately owned automotive rental and leasing company in North America.
This role involves leading our commitment to exceptional cleaning practices, exceeding standard protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
Responsibilities
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights
- Inspect windshield for damage
- Factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data
- Check for customer items and place anything of value in Lost & Found
- Verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed
- Check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
- Inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns; report any warning lights and/or vehicle/windshield/tire damage; pull vehicle out of preparation process if necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers when needed, may transport customers to and from branches
- Help maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations
- Site appearance tasks include desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot, and other general cleanliness tasks
Additional Responsibilities
- Seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training, and goal setting
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds to assist customers
- Must be able to work Thursday to Monday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm except for religious observations
