We are looking for an Accounting Clerk / Assistant Controller to join our team at Barnabé Mazda in St-Jean. This key role within our dealership will allow you to contribute to the effective management of our financial operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complete bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, billing, and management of accounts payable and receivable.
- Collaborate with the controller to prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Participate in budget development and financial variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory financial requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the sales and operations departments, ensuring rigorous follow-up on transactions.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software and office tools (especially Excel).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good organizational skills.
