Saint-Laurent Hyundai, a dynamic dealership in the Montreal region, seeks to fill a key position on its team. Based in Saint-Laurent, near Montreal, you will lead Financial Services and ensure its growth in line with the business objectives and the high expectations of our clientele. You will contribute to delivering a smooth and flawless customer experience throughout the entire purchase and financing journey.

What you will do

• You will supervise the Financial Services department, financing and credit, and ensure effective coordination with banking partners and financial institutions.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and internal controls related to financing new and used vehicles, ensuring compliance and risk management.
• Work closely with the sales and aftersales service teams to optimize financing processes, improve processing times and increase conversion rates.
• Manage the financial department's budget, prepare periodic reports and present results to senior management.
• Optimize margins and costs, propose competitive financing solutions, and ensure the training and development of the team.
• Monitor performance indicators, identify opportunities for improvement and lead digitization or process automation projects.
• Stay up to date with applicable regulations, especially in consumer protection and vehicle financing, and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
• Develop enduring partnerships with local financial institutions and industry players to obtain favorable conditions for our clients.

Profile sought

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field; at least one year of experience in a supervisory or financial leadership role is required, ideally in the automotive sector.
• Demonstrated leadership, excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the aptitude to motivate and develop a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused and team-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in computer tools (advanced Excel, ERP and automobile financing systems, CRM) and ability to operate in a technology-driven environment.
• Functional bilingual in French and English; knowledge of the Quebec context and local regulations is an advantage.
• Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work pace and contribute to the cross-functional success of activities.
