Virden Truck and Trailer Ltd. is a heavy-duty truck and trailer repair and maintenance business based in Virden, Manitoba, Canada. It serves commercial and private vehicle owners across southwestern Manitoba with mechanical repairs, safety inspections, and mobile service support.
Fox Tail Hauling Ltd. was established in 2011. Locally owned in Virden, Manitoba, it provides hauling services in SW Manitoba and SE Saskatchewan. It specializes in fluid hauling, but also provides numerous other services.
Responsibilities
- Complete quality diagnostics and repairs on all heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment and follow a routine maintenance schedule.
- Maintain an accurate record of repairs completed and parts used.
- Promote a clean and safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A combination of related experience and education is required; a certified journeyman is preferred.
- Familiarity with the tools of the trade; must be personally equipped with an adequate supply of tools required for the position.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and effectively solve mechanical issues.
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
