About the role
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems as a Journeyman Automotive Technician at Straightline Honda in Terrace, British Columbia. Use electronic diagnostic equipment in a full-time dealership role.
This Automotive Technician position focuses on testing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to dealership and OEM standards. You will inspect brakes, fuel systems, and engines while replacing parts as needed. The work also includes documenting repairs, coordinating with Parts and Service Advisors, and mentoring apprentices.

Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance accurately and efficiently
- Diagnose vehicle systems using specialized diagnostic equipment

- Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate completed or in process
- Strong knowledge of various makes and models
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history
