We are recruiting a (m/f) Mechanic / Alignment Technician to join our dynamic team in Laval. At 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd., a member of Tremblay Auto Group and an engaged community actor, we offer a friendly work environment and development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Perform wheel alignments, adjustments, and inspections of suspension and steering systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and repair issues related to alignment, suspension, and wheel guidance.
- Use specialized tools (alignment camera, measuring devices, etc.) and ensure traceability of interventions.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with safety procedures and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with the after-sales service team to ensure fast and flawless service.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and accurately document completed interventions.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive mechanics and alignment.
- Good knowledge of suspension, steering systems, and alignment techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and technical procedures.
- Valid driver's license; relevant diploma in automotive mechanics is an asset.
- Team spirit, service-mindedness, and excellent attention to detail.
- Fluent French; English is an asset.
