Tarvy Auto established in Ville Saint-Laurent since 1998, is seeking a motivated Mechanic / Technician (Apprentice) to join our team. Main Responsibilities • Perform basic maintenance tasks and simple repairs on vehicles: suspension and brake system, tire mounting and dismounting, oil and filter changes. • Perform in routine maintenance services and assist technicians with more complex repairs as needed. • Use workshop tools and equipment, respecting safety procedures and standards. • Contribute to maintaining order and cleanliness in the workshop and ensure efficient, quality service. Required Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years' experience in basic mechanics (suspension, brakes, tire mounting, oil and filter changes). • Knowledge of maintenance procedures and workshop tools. • Team player, quick learner, attention to detail. • Good communication skills and customer service orientation; autonomous under supervision and able to follow directives. • Training or equivalent experience in automotive mechanics is an asset; motivation to advance toward more technical responsibilities. Principales responsabilités
• Effectuer des tâches d’entretien de base et des réparations simples sur les véhicules : suspension et système de freinage, montage et démontage de pneus, vidanges d’huile et remplacement des filtres.
• Effectuer les services d’entretien courant et assister les techniciens lors de réparations plus complexes au besoin.
• Utiliser les outils et l’équipement de l’atelier en respectant les procédures et les normes de sécurité.
• Contribuer au maintien de l’ordre et de la propreté dans l’atelier et assurer un service efficace et de qualité.
Qualifications requises
• Minimum de 3 ans d’expérience en mécanique de base (suspension, freins, montage de pneus, vidanges d’huile et remplacement des filtres).
• Connaissance des procédures d’entretien et des outils d’atelier.
• Esprit d’équipe, capacité d’apprentissage rapide et souci du détail.
• Bonnes aptitudes en communication et orientation vers le service à la clientèle; capacité à travailler de façon autonome sous supervision et à suivre les directives.
• Formation ou expérience équivalente en mécanique automobile, un atout; motivation à évoluer vers des responsabilités plus techniques.
