Your Role
As an apprentice mechanic/technician, you’ll help maintain and repair Volkswagen vehicles under the supervision of experienced technicians. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs in accordance with current procedures and safety standards.
- Assisting with diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems using the appropriate tools.
- Replacing or repairing components, then checking that vehicles are functioning properly.
- Accurately documenting work completed and reporting any issues to your team.
- Keeping your work area and tools clean and safe.
- Developing your technical skills through training and support from the team.
