Madmax Autoworks, a workshop established in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec, is looking for a motivated and competent Mechanic / Technician to strengthen its team.
Job Description: Under the supervision of the workshop manager, you will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing multi-brand vehicles, adhering to quality and safety standards, and using modern diagnostic tools and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs.
- Replace or repair worn parts and ensure functional verification.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams, maintenance sheets, and diagnostic reports.
- Document interventions and ensure traceability of work.
- Actively participate in the maintenance and tidiness of the workstation.
- Work collaboratively with the team and ensure quality service to clients.
Desired Profile:
- Degree in automotive mechanics or equivalent training.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of modern systems (engine, transmission, brakes, electronics; OBD diagnostics).
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
- Good manual skills and precision.
- Team spirit and good communication skills.
- Valid driver's license; availability according to operational needs.
