At Yergeau Ford, a Ford dealership located in Acton Vale, near Drummondville and Richmond, we are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Mechanic/Technician to join our high-performing team. You will work on new and used vehicles and contribute to delivering reliable, high-quality service to our local customers. The position is located at 1600 D'Acton Street, Acton Vale.

Your responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Ford vehicles and other brands according to the manufacturer’s standards and internal procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Use diagnostic tools, software and vehicle management systems; read and interpret diagrams and technical manuals.
• Collaborate with the shop foreman and the service advisor to ensure swift interventions and customer satisfaction.
• Keep the workshop clean, organized and compliant with safety and quality rules.
• Clearly document interventions and parts used; make recommendations when necessary.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay at the forefront of Ford technologies and processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in automotive mechanics or equivalent; Ford certification or manufacturer training is an asset.
• Good knowledge of the mechanical and electronic systems of modern vehicles; ability to read diagrams and technical manuals.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to solve problems quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation; team player.
• Valid driver’s license; occasional availability for varied hours depending on service needs.
