The position of Mechanic / Technician is available at Lachapelle Buick GMC, located in Gatineau, Quebec. Join a dynamic team dedicated to the maintenance and repair of Buick GMC vehicles, providing high-quality and reliable service to our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer standards and safety requirements.
- Read and interpret diagrams, error codes, and use modern diagnostic tools.
- Assemble, disassemble, and replace parts; adjust and test systems after intervention.
- Keep intervention reports up to date and ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the service team and contribute to a positive customer experience.
Profile Sought:
- DEP in auto mechanics or equivalent; relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a mechanic / automotive technician position.
- Good knowledge of engine, electrical, and electronic systems; ability to read diagrams and interpret error codes.
- Team spirit, customer service orientation, rigor, and autonomy.
- Valid driver’s license; mobility to work on vehicles and with tools.
- Ability to work standing and handle tools safely.
