We are seeking a qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join the team at 440 Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd., a dealership based in Laval and a member of Tremblay Auto Group. You will be part of a modern and dynamic workshop dedicated to the maintenance and repair of Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles, in an environment focused on quality and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems of vehicles
- Perform preventive maintenance operations and both routine and complex repairs
- Use diagnostic equipment and computerized tools to optimize interventions
- Follow safety procedures and the group's quality standards
- Write precise and clear intervention notes
- Collaborate with the service team and technicians, while communicating effectively with clients
- Participate in continuous process improvement of the service
Profile
- Diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an auto workshop (required)
- Knowledge of injection systems, OBD diagnostics, vehicle electrical and electronic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and maintenance guides
- Team spirit, manual dexterity, and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Availability to work according to operational needs and flexible hours
- Valid driver’s license
