Ville-Marie Kia, a Kia dealership in Montreal, is seeking an experienced First-Class Mechanic to join our dynamic workshop. Join a team committed to providing first-class service and efficient solutions to our loyal customers.
Type of employment: Permanent – Full-time
Main responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain new and used vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and functional tests.
- Analyze failures, propose sustainable solutions, and accurately document interventions.
- Collaborate with other service team members to optimize turnaround times and ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Follow safety rules, keep the workshop clean and organized, and ensure proper functioning of tools and equipment.
Requirements and qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics (First-Class Mechanic) required.
- Relevant diploma (DEP or equivalent in automotive mechanics).
- Strong knowledge of engine systems, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and automotive electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manufacturer procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills and team spirit.
- Valid driver's license and ability to perform road tests.
- Availability to work according to the dealership schedule and adapt to operational needs.
