Alex Pneu et Mécanique (5500), based in Plateau-Mont-Royal, Montreal, for 45 years, is seeking an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our passionate and dynamic team.
Job description and responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain light and utility vehicles.
- Perform electronic and mechanical diagnostics using specialized tools.
- Install and replace tires, brakes, suspensions, exhaust systems, and other components.
- Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Notify the shop manager of repairs needed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with the technical team and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards, including GREEN KEY practices.
Profile sought

Vocational diploma or college diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical and electronic systems of modern vehicles; ability to diagnose using computer tools (OBD diagnostics, etc.).

Team spirit, autonomy, and organizational skills.

Valid driver's license; ability to handle vehicles and workshop equipment.
