Job Description CamionsCommerciaux.ca, a specialist in commercial trucks in Quebec, is seeking a Mechanic / Technician to join our team in Repentigny. In a dynamic and renovated dealership, you will be the only technician on site, offering great autonomy and close contact with our professional clientele. You will work on utility vehicles such as Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, and GMC Savana, within a modern workshop tailored to the needs of the profession. Flexible hours may be available depending on operational requirements.
Responsibilities
Inspection and reconditioning of units destined for sale. Inventory of 65 light trucks, vans, and box trucks.
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of utility vehicles, particularly Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, and GMC Savana.
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and quality checks to ensure vehicle reliability and safety.
- Read and interpret schematics and diagnostic reports, propose effective technical solutions, and write service notes.
- Prepare vehicles for delivery and monitor post-repair follow-up, possibly in collaboration with the sales team.
- Manage the supply of parts and tools on-site and keep intervention documentation up to date.
- Respect safety standards and internal procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto mechanics, ideally on utility vehicles (Ford Transit, Ram ProMaster, GMC Savana).
- Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently as the sole technician on site, with initiative and customer service-oriented mindset.
- Valid driver's license; fluent in French. Functional English is an asset.
- Willingness to adapt to an environment where autonomy and versatility are valued.
