Mechanic – Recreational Vehicles

The Contant Group is looking for a recreational vehicle mechanic to join their team.

Are you strongly interested in mechanics and recreational vehicles? Do you have knowledge in mechanics, whether through your training, professional experience, or personal projects? Do you want to learn and develop your skills in the field of recreational vehicles?

Profiles coming from the automotive, parts, mechanics, machinery, heavy vehicles, small engines, and technical service sectors are welcome.

Direct experience with recreational vehicles is an asset but not mandatory. We are open to junior profiles and individuals eager to learn the trade. Training and support will gradually develop the skills necessary for the position.

🔧 Your role

On a daily basis, you will be called upon to:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on various recreational vehicles;
• Conduct mechanical, electrical, and electronic inspections and diagnoses;
• Identify problems and determine necessary repairs;
• Perform adjustments, fine-tuning, and maintenance work;
• Carry out repairs according to manufacturer standards;
• Use various diagnostic tools and equipment;
• Perform tests and checks after repairs;
• Keep your workspace clean, organized, and safe;
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure quality work;
• Follow company procedures and health and safety standards.

🏍️ Vehicles you may work on

· ATV

· Snowmobiles / Ski-Doo

· Personal Watercraft / Sea-Doo

· Motorcycles

· Spyder

· UTV / Side-by-side

· Other recreational vehicles

No need to be an expert on all these vehicles when you start! You will be supported and trained to gradually develop your skills.

👨‍🔧 Profile sought

We are looking for someone:

• With a strong interest in mechanics and recreational vehicles;
• Possessing mechanical knowledge gained through training, professional experience, or personal projects;
• Who enjoys learning, understanding, and solving problems;
• Resourceful, autonomous, and meticulous;

• Who wants to develop their skills and grow in the field.

Experience in automotive, parts, mechanics, machinery, heavy vehicles, small engines, recreational vehicles, or technical service is an asset.

Do you do mechanics in your free time, maintain or repair your own vehicles, or have developed practical knowledge on your own? We want to meet you!

A diploma in recreational vehicle mechanics, small engines, or related fields is also an asset.

💰 Compensation and progression

• $24 to $30/hour, depending on knowledge, skills, and experience;
• Progression bonuses up to an additional $10/hour depending on training, certifications, and acquired skills;
• Annual salary review following performance evaluation;
• BRP training paid for by the employer;

⏰ Schedule and conditions

• Permanent full-time position;
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.;
• 30-minute lunch break;
• Two 15-minute breaks;
