At Ford St-Basile, a Ford dealership located in Saint-Basile-le-Grand, we are seeking an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join our new workshop and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and mechanical and electrical maintenance on Ford customers’ vehicles and, if needed, on various other vehicles, following manufacturer procedures and internal quality standards.
- Diagnose engine systems, transmissions, braking, suspension, and electronics using specialized instruments and software.
- Carry out preventive and corrective interventions with rigor, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Work closely with service advisors and other technicians to ensure quick, accurate, and customer-oriented service.
- Clearly document interventions and parts used, and conduct necessary road tests after repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in a new workshop conducive to efficiency and safety.
Required Qualities and Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive mechanics.
- Ford experience considered a major asset.
- Hold a DEP or equivalent in automotive mechanics; valid driver’s license.
- Skills in diagnostics and use of computerized tools and software (ideally Ford diagnostic tools).
- Team spirit, customer service orientation, and excellent professional rigor.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to daily priorities.
