We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented automotive mechanic/technician to join NAPA Autopro - Gare Mechanical Center, located in Saint-Jérôme, Quebec. Your responsibilities
- Diagnose breakdowns and perform mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and periodic revisions
- Diagnose using modern diagnostic tools and interpret data
- Replace parts and verify their quality
- Conduct road tests and follow up on interventions
- Collaborate with the team and communicate clearly with clients about repairs and costs
- Comply with safety standards, internal procedures, and deadlines
Ideal candidate
- Relevant diploma in automotive mechanics or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role
- CPA apprentice card required
- Good knowledge of engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and air conditioning
- Ability to diagnose and repair modern vehicles using diagnostic tools
- Customer service orientation and good communication skills
- Team spirit, autonomy, and attention to quality work
- Valid driving license
