Tesla Service Vancouver - Powell Street is looking for an experienced mechanic or technician to join our dedicated after-sales service team for electric vehicles in Vancouver. Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair the mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of Tesla vehicles using internal diagnostic tools and procedures.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in accordance with safety and quality standards, ensuring traceability and documentation of the work.
• Conduct functional tests after interventions and validate the feasibility of repairs, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement.
• Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and customer support to quickly resolve complex issues.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses and work performed to customers and the service team, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
• Participate in internal training and the development of technical skills related to electric vehicle technologies and high-voltage systems.
• Keep the workshop organized, safe, and compliant with internal procedures and local regulations.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally in an EV or automotive context in general.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex faults.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and service software; ability to interpret diagrams and repair routes.
• Valid driver's license and availability to collaborate as needed; aptitude for working in a safe environment following procedures.
• Technical degree or equivalent training valued; experience in high standards of quality and safety environments.
• Good problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work in a team, communicate effectively, and adapt to a dynamic pace.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French; knowledge of technical English is an advantage.
