Description of the job:
Mont-Royal Chevrolet is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Parts Clerk to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality service to our customers as well as supporting technicians and the internal team in the efficient management of parts and accessories.
Main responsibilities:
- Greet and advise customers at the parts counter with professionalism.
- Respond to technicians' requests by ensuring rapid availability of the necessary parts.
- Search, identify and order automobile parts as needed.
- Manage returns, exchanges, and warranties of parts.
- Participate in inventory management: receiving, sorting, stock verification and cycle counts.
- Ensure merchandising and promotion of parts and accessories.
- Provide support and supervise junior clerks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role at an automobile dealership (GM experience an asset).
- In-depth knowledge of parts management systems and electronic catalogs. (SERTI, an asset)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple priorities at once.
- Rigour, autonomy and strong organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license.
