We are seeking a passionate and experienced Workshop Foreman / Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Volkswagen Popular. As a leader within our service department, you will be responsible for supervising daily operations, ensuring that our staff delivers exceptional service while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate workshop activities, ensuring the efficient execution of repairs and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure smooth communication between technicians, the service department, and management.
- Train and mentor staff, focusing on skills development and performance improvement.
- Monitor inventory of parts and supplies needed for workshop operations.
- Manage work schedule planning and ensure resources are allocated to meet service demands.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, in accordance with applicable health and safety standards.
- Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to continually improve the service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the mechanical and electronic systems of vehicles, particularly those of the Volkswagen brand.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to motivate a team and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational sense and attention to detail.
