The automotive body painter is responsible for preparing and finishing paint on vehicle bodies. Primary tasks include dismantling and reassembling body parts, sanding, cleaning, surface preparation, mixing paints and applying paint.

They must also be able to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with other members of the automotive repair team to ensure quality work and satisfactory customer service.
