Job Summary

Under the responsibility of the Sales Director/Assistant Director, the product specialist will play a key role in promoting and selling vehicles to customers. They will be responsible for guiding customers through the purchasing process, answering their questions, and providing detailed information about the vehicles.

Main Responsibilities

Welcome customers, establish a trustworthy relationship, and demonstrate a serious commitment to customer satisfaction; Assist customers in choosing a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their answers to identify their needs; Explain the performance of products, how they work, and their benefits to potential customers in the showroom or via email; Describe any optional equipment that the customer might purchase; Offer test drives to any potential customer and ensure that appropriate identification is obtained before the test drive, following established policies; Explain terms related to long-term leasing versus traditional purchasing based on the customer's needs; Obtain required information and complete all necessary documents to prepare for a sale or lease; Stay informed about news (products, features, accessories, etc.) and their benefits for customers; Know and understand all federal, provincial, and municipal laws governing retail automobile sales. Miscellaneous Tasks

Ensure the cleanliness of the work area; Participate in any product and service training as requested by the supervisor; Perform any other task requested by the supervisor and according to the needs of the organization. Requirements

High school diploma (DES) and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role OR Certification – automotive sales and 1 year of sales experience OR Professional studies diploma (DEP) in sales consulting; Bilingualism; Valid driver's license. Required Skills

Excellent communication and ability to work in a team; Strong interest in high-quality customer service; Sense of responsibility and organizational skills; Initiative, judgment, and autonomy; Prioritization skills, flexibility, and adaptability; Professional behavior and representation of the employer.
