We are looking for a Unit Director, Estimation, for our growing team!
What you will accomplish with us:
Lead and coordinate activities to achieve quality and compliance objectives for repairs performed by suppliers, in accordance with policies and the application of Intact's standards and procedures.
Act as a resource person by providing support to internal and external estimators, as well as to various Intact resources, to answer their questions.
Ensure the training and technical support of employees by continuously staying updated on the software and techniques used.
In collaboration with experts, review the subrogation files from other insurers and provide appropriate recommendations.
Perform quality checks on estimates produced by all internal estimators and body shops, ensuring compliance with policies and the application of standards and procedures, including those pertaining to customer service.
Increase the efficiency of your sector by participating in the development of analyses and recommendations.
Manage your team's activities by organizing, planning, and controlling the optimal use of human, financial, and material resources according to the budget, while fostering teamwork.
Support our trusted network teams with complaints related to estimates. Participate in various existing committees in the field of estimation and stay informed about industry techniques.

Desired profile
What you will bring:
College diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience 3 to 5 years of management experience, an asset
Knowledge of the estimation process and estimation software
Live and demonstrate leadership success factors within Intact
Good analytical, synthesis, and decision-making skills
Project management and change management skills
Ability to foster engagement and mobilization within your team
Ability to establish relationships based on trust and collaboration
