A family business
Alex Pneu & Mécanique is a family business founded by Mario Bédard in 1988 on Sherbrooke Street East in Montreal. Since 2010, the company has been co-managed by his son Jean-François Bédard.
Since 2019, he and his partner Josée Schryer have been steering the company towards a green and committed direction. The workshop received the Green Key Gold certification during its first audit.
In April 2021, two additional service bays were set up for the maintenance of hybrid and/or electric vehicles as well as the calibration of driver assistance systems (ADAS).
In 2022, they earned the “silver” mention for AUTOPRO workshop of the year, finishing 2nd out of 239 workshops in Quebec for their best practices, team management, growth, and innovation. Jean-François and his partner Josée will fully take over the administration of the company in January 2025.
