A beautiful story of growth and recognition
In 1966, Roland Mercier opened Mercier Marine from his own home. He led the business until 1978. That year, his son Yvon and his son-in-law Mario Faucher took over, and they continued to operate the business in the same location for another ten years.
In 1988, Mercier Marine moved to its current spacious and newly constructed premises.
Yvon Mercier and Mario Faucher teamed up there for 15 years, until Yvon's retirement in 2003. It was then that Daniel Carrier, who had been an employee for five years, became Mario's partner.
On January 31, 2014, after 35 years of service at Mercier Marine, Mario took a well-deserved retirement, handing over the reins of the company to Daniel.
Mercier Marine has been honored several times by BRP as Dealer of the Year and, in 2013, was recognized by its chamber of commerce as “a mark of success and tenacity as it celebrated its 47th year of operation.”
