We are currently seeking a qualified 310T Diesel Mechanic Apprentice (3rd or 4th Year) to support our Vac Truck Fleet operations at our Mount Albert, ON location.
About the role
Schedule
- Afternoon shift coverage, 2:00pm-12:00am, Monday to Friday, in shop
- Occasional Weekends and overtime as required
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of Vac Trucks and other pieces OTR equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with MTO safety standards
- Complete and maintain accurate service and inspection documentation
- Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems
- Review maintenance history to support proactive servicing schedules
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Support and mentor junior technicians when required
Requirements
- Verified 3rd or 4th years 310T Truck and Coach Technician Registered Apprentice (Ontario)
- Red Seal endorsement considered an asset
- Experience working with heavy-duty trucks and fleet maintenance
- Valid G Class driver’s license (DZ/AZ considered an asset)
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Ability to interpret schematics, service manuals, and technical data
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety

Pay
- $30.00 to $38.00/hr based on experience.
