Job Description
Under the supervision of the controller, an accounting clerk handles daily deposits, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and also supports the sales team in certain administrative tasks. The role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of dealership operations. Responsibilities:
- Record and balance sales files while ensuring their compliance;
- Validate the commission calculations of sales representatives and sales directors;
- Process daily department check requisitions;
- Track sales receivables;
- Reconcile certain accounts payable;
- Prepare certain account analyses for the controller;
- Assist with external auditors' requests;
- Provide support to the controller in other various accounting tasks. Requirements:
- Experience as an accounting clerk at an automobile dealership (required);
- Experience with CDK software (required) as well as the MS Office suite (Excel and Word);
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact with internal clients, key suppliers, and employees;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, perform a variety of tasks, and meet deadlines;
- Proficiency in English (an asset). Conditions:
