Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk / Technician – Financial Controller Assistant to support our finance department and ensure diligent accounting management within Des Sources Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
Main Responsibilities
- Record daily accounting entries and maintain accounts.
- Account for sales contracts.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and payment follow-up.
- Participate in the monthly closing cycle and prepare financial reports.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of accounting balances.
- Control documents and journals, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Support the financial controller in analyzing discrepancies and preparing ad hoc analyses.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and accounting efficiency.
Profile sought
- Degree in accounting, finance, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or financial role (requirement).
- Proficiency with office tools and accounting software; good knowledge of Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to meet deadlines.
