Job Description
We are looking for an Accounting Clerk / Technician to join Capitale Nissan, a Nissan dealership in Quebec, to support our accounting department in a dynamic and customer service-oriented environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Record new and used vehicle sales
- Record and pay warranties sold during the month
- Maintain and update the commissions register
- Make payments related to vehicles, including payments to BMO
- Enter new and used vehicles into the system and monitor their inventory
- Verify month-end deadlines
- Record the PSP report and ensure PSPs are correctly charged
- Perform standard accounting entries
- Follow up on files with mutual insurance and ensure compliance with CNESST requirements
- Draft and present CNESST reports
- Apply for electric vehicle subsidies (federal and provincial)
- Follow up on CNESST and claims related to the $500 loyalty program
- Discount the files of new and used vehicles
- Store and manage files of purchased new and used vehicles
- Prepare and present documents related to new and used vehicles to reception
Profile Sought
- Mandatory experience in the automotive industry (minimum 1 year)
- Degree or equivalent in accounting or financial management
- Good knowledge of accounting entries and procedures related to CNESST and subsidies
- Proven skills in accounting software and Excel; ability to work with automotive management systems
- Rigor, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
Conditions and Benefits
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (no weekend work)
- Compensation between $30 and $35/hour depending on skills and experience
