Honda Sorel-Tracy, a Honda dealership located in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec, is looking for a Clerk / Accounting Technician to complete its team.
Your key responsibilities
- Enter, record, and verify accounting entries and daily transactions
- Manage customer and supplier accounts (follow-up, payments, reconciliations, and dispute resolution)
- Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, monthly reports, and tax declarations
- Track expenses, expense reports, and cost control
- Support the payroll cycle and assist with monthly closures
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure the accuracy and reliability of accounting data
Profile sought
- Degree in accounting, accounting technician, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting practices, taxes (GST/QST), and internal controls
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; ability to quickly learn various systems
- Rigor, analytical sense, autonomy, and team spirit
