Job Description
UPS is hiring eligible applicants for the position of Apprentice Automotive Fleet Technician. Appointees will be responsible for repairing, inspecting, and maintaining UPS diesel, propane, CNG, and gasoline vehicles regularly and in a timely manner.
About the role
Candidates are required to operate and test company vehicles within UPS facilities and on public roads.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted.
- Willingness to work evening and/or night shifts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must attain possession of a Red Seal 310T apprentice and 310S apprentice license.
- Possession of essential trade tools and equipment.
- Clean driver's abstract/record.
- No accidents and a maximum of 5 demerit points in the previous 3-year period.
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- Must pass a pre-employment road test to be eligible.
