Job Description
Under the authority of the financial controller, you will play a key role within our on-site administrative team at Mega Kia Brossard, a dealership located in Brossard, Quebec. You will ensure the compliance of daily financial transactions at the dealership and oversee the accuracy of data related to inventory and vehicle sales.
Status and Working Mode

Main Responsibilities
Management of vehicle transactions
- Audit, close, and account for vehicle sales contracts (new and used).
- Validate financing contracts (F&I) and related protection products.
- Daily reconciliation of registration transactions and SAAQ fees.
Inventory and Account Control
- Daily reconciliation of inventory financing (Floorplan) with the bank.
- Analyze, regularize, and clear accounting schedules (deposits, accounts receivable).
- Process and validate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and remittances.
Period-End Closure and Reports
- Perform dealership bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and record journal and adjustment entries at month-end.
- Assist the controller in producing financial statements for the manufacturer.
Profile Sought
- Experience: 3 years of accounting experience in an automobile dealership (essential).
- Education: DEC or DEP in accounting, or equivalent training.
- Software: Proficiency with a DMS system (Serti and Merlin) and Excel.
- Skills: Mathematical rigor, strong organizational skills, and team spirit.
