Assistant Controller
We are hiring for our Sainte-Julie or Montreal branch an Assistant Controller.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading activities related to accounting, financial management, and internal control of the company;
- Implementing accounting management and control mechanisms and ensuring the proper management and validity of financial information in accordance with accounting principles;
- Initiating and managing, in collaboration with other directors, the budgeting process by understanding organizational priorities and ensuring appropriate allocation of financial resources;
- Responsible for optimal and strict management of cash flow, cash accounts, expenses, liquidity, and derivatives;
- Preparing GST and QST declarations;
- Conducting analyses for various departments;
- Actively participating in the month-end and year-end closing processes;
- Participating in the hiring of employees under their supervision, in collaboration with human resources;
- Coordinating their team’s schedule (vacations, leave, etc.) efficiently;
- Collaborating with management on various special projects.

Working hours: Flexible, daytime. 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting from CAD 100,000/year depending on experience.
Required qualifications and desired skills:
- University degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
- CPA designation;
- 5 years of previous experience in a similar role;
- Experience in SMEs or a dealership is an asset;
- 5 years of supervisory experience;
- Functional English (French/English, spoken and written);
- Excellent mastery of MS Office software;
- Expert in Excel (SQL Query) is an asset;
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with various departments;
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
- Capacity to work under pressure, availability, and reliability.
