Under the supervision of the workshop manager, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle transmission systems. You will work on automatic and manual transmissions, differentials, and drive shafts, with a commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities
- Diagnose failures and malfunctions related to transmissions and propose appropriate technical solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manual and automatic gearboxes, differentials, and drive shafts; replace worn components (clutches, seals, bearings, synchronizers, sensors if necessary).
- Read and interpret diagrams and technical procedures; use diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Perform functional tests and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; collaborate with the team to optimize timelines and customer satisfaction.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum experience: 3 years in automotive mechanics, ideally in transmissions.
- Knowledge of automatic and manual transmission systems, as well as clutch and differential principles.
