Location: Christina Lake (FIFO role, flights from Calgary or Edmonton)
Schedule: 7/7 rotation, Wednesday to Wednesday
Overview: Join as an Automotive and Equipment Service Technician, focusing on safety and operational reliability while maintaining and repairing light-duty fleet and support equipment. Work independently in remote environments and collaborate with internal teams and contractors. All tools and equipment are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repairs on pickup trucks, light towers, generators, ATVs, UTVs, and other support equipment.
- Conduct inspections, diagnose faults, and utilize OEM diagnostic platforms for repairs.
- Ensure safety compliance and participate in continuous safety improvements.
- Maintain records, manage parts ordering, and oversee contracted labor quality.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 5 years as a Journeyman Automotive Service Technician.
- Automotive Service Technician Journeyman Certificate and valid Class 5 Driver’s License with Air Brake Endorsement.
- Certifications: H2S Alive and Standard First Aid.
- Proficient in diagnostics for electrical, electronic control, hydraulic, and A/C systems.
- Assets include Red Seal Certification, experience with Ford and Kubota equipment, and industrial/remote environment experience.
