Position Overview
As an Automotive Parts Buyer & Relationship Manager, you will build and maintain strong partnerships with automotive recyclers, salvage yards, repair shops, insurance partners, and more across Atlantic Canada. You'll leverage your technical expertise to identify, evaluate, and procure quality recycled automotive parts to maximize inventory value and drive business growth.
Your Impact
- Develop and nurture long-term supplier relationships across the region
- Travel regularly to engage with suppliers and uncover buying opportunities
- Negotiate pricing and supply agreements
- Coordinate closely with operations for smooth inventory management
- Monitor trends and market conditions to stay ahead
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive recycling, parts, or salvage operations
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle components
- Skilled in parts identification and inventory systems
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Self-driven with capacity to manage extensive travel
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment
A mix of office, facility visits, and outdoor settings involving some lifting/inspection of automotive parts. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility as needed.
