About the role
Your ability to work efficiently with customers and technicians is a great fit for Canadian Tire - Swift Current in Swift Current, Saskatchewan. Automotive Parts/Service Desk staff communicate directly with customers, managing their needs and expectations regarding auto service maintenance and repairs and providing over-the-counter parts requests. This role is the link between the technician and the customer. Superior customer service and communication skills are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience. Experience in the automotive industry is required.
Responsibilities
- Customer service and greeting customers
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle.
- Understand customer needs and provide them with a complete solution.
- Manage customer concerns and problems promptly.
- Ensure a smooth flow of communication with customers during repairs or maintenance work.
- Open and close work orders and write estimates.
- Schedule appointments.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of mechanical components of automobiles.
- Basic math and keyboarding skills.
- Customer service/sales experience.
- Experience in a similar role in an Auto Service Centre is required.
- Valid driver's license for province of employment.
