About the role
Lead automotive quality systems and customer quality activities as a Quality Assurance Manager at Johnson Electric in onsite Mississauga. Improve products, processes, and accountability.
This manager oversees plant-level quality assurance in a manufacturing environment. The work combines IATF 16949, structured problem-solving, digital quality, and people leadership. You will improve product quality, reduce operational losses, and maintain customer-focused requirements.

Responsibilities
- Establish quality objectives, metrics, and improvement plans
- Lead customer complaints, investigations, containment, and corrective actions
- Maintain the IATF 16949 Quality Management System
- Lead audits, PFMEA reviews, APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC
- Coach Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
- Minimum eight years’ progressive manufacturing quality experience
- Three to five years’ leadership or supervisory experience
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements
- Experience with Minitab and structured problem-solving tools
