Calgary Truck & Trailer Repair is seeking an Automotive Service Manager (NOC 60020).

- Salary: $46.50 hourly
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Direct and control daily operations
- Evaluate daily operations
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Manage staff and assign duties
- Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and effect of competitors’ operations on sales
- Determine merchandise and services to be sold
- Implement price and credit policies
- Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
- Develop and implement marketing strategies
- Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Determine staffing requirements
- Resolve issues including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages
- Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
- Conduct performance reviews
- Supervise office and volunteer staff
Requirements
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in the automobile and trucking industry
- Supervision experience: managing 1 to 4 people
- Personal suitability: energetic, goal-oriented, hardworking, good time management, flexible, organized, team player, ability to multitask
- Work conditions: fast-paced environment, ability to work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking
