We are hiring a Dents Repair Apprentice to join our body shop at Volkswagen Popular in Montreal.
Your responsibilities
- Perform dent repairs on vehicle metal panels according to manufacturer standards and internal procedures.
- Straighten and prepare surfaces to create a suitable base for further repairs.
- Use manual and specialized tools (hammers, spring presses, jigs, etc.) to realign panels while preserving structural integrity.
- Protect adjacent areas and prepare surfaces for subsequent repair or restoration steps.
- Work in coordination with body technicians and painters as needed to plan repairs and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
- Maintain inventory of tools and ensure the workspace is clean and orderly.
- Document repairs and communicate relevant observations to the supervisor.

- 1 year of experience in dent repair or a related position.
- Knowledge of manual dent repair techniques, body tolerances, and associated tools.
- Excellent manual skills, precision, attention to detail; good physical condition and endurance.
