Job description
The Tesla Collision Repair Program is seeking a body shop technician to work on one of the world’s most progressive vehicle brands. If you want to be part of a world-class service team supporting the latest technology in electric vehicles, we would love to hear from you.
Job responsibilities:
- Adhere to Tesla standards and work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Perform structural and cosmetic repairs on Tesla Model S, Model X, Model Y and Model 3 vehicles in accordance with Tesla-specific repair procedures
- Use Celette jigs for fitting new structural components
- Bond, rivet and weld the structural components that are replaced
- Repair exterior cosmetic panels with metal finishes and body filler
- Replace all parts associated with collision repair, including body panels, suspension components, the vehicle structure, radiators, airbags, and trim
- Proficiency in MIG welding
What we are looking for:
- The successful candidate will be required to support projects across all Canadian provinces and communicate daily primarily in English with staff and clients outside of Quebec
- More than 5 years of experience as an automotive collision repair technician
- CPA card
- Able to read and understand automotive repair procedures
- Excellent attitude and enjoys working in a team
- Comfortable with the latest technology and learning new software
- A professional certificate in collision repair and a MIG welding certification are assets
- Valid Canadian Class 5, G or G2 driver's license
We have two schedules available, with some flexibility possible.
Day: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Night: Monday to Thursday, 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. With a 10% hourly rate premium.
